A Poem by P.N.
"

To my wife

"

Your

You’re the morning calm.
You’re a summer day.
You’re the sun that gives me light.
You’re the evening breeze.
You’re the twilight shade.
You’re the stars that shine at night.

You’re the April showers.
You’re the breath of spring.
You’re the first flower to unfold.
You’re the first snow flake.
You’re the chilly wind.
You’re my warmth in winter’s cold.

You’re a timeless poem.
You’re a sweet love song.
You’re the melody that I hear.
You’re my taste of sweet.
You’re my sense of tough.
You’re the thought that brings a tear.

You’re the air I breath.
You’re my heart that beats.
You’re the reason my heart's in flight.
You’re my every thought.
You’re the prayer I pray.
You're my lover,my woman, my wife.

You have indeed summed up love. Simple, without being simplistic.. Straightforward and as easy as it gets. I love it.
