Fight Words

Feelings I have

Indescribably bad

Horrific at the least

A bump in the road that threw me into a frenzy

Can I fully recover from this?

Truly bad are the thoughts

Painfully strong,

Stronger than before

An abrupt awakening in my fairytale story

Throwing my life off its delicate balance

Words in my head make no sense

As my body is turning numb

Words in my head ringing loud

Screaming at me

Words I wish I couldn’t hear

Impossible to forget

They threw me out of control

Wanting only to cause pain

Words that should have never been said

My ears never should’ve heard them!

My life falling apart again.

A terrible fight.

No one can stop it now.

This terrible fight.

Mysterious. The poem describes these feelings very clearly and and almost resignedly; as though this is just another case of Here We Go Again!! The whole thing is a rather like one big clue as to what this thing is that rocks the speaker's words. The good thing is that it can be open to interpretation on the part of the reader.
However, I think it is simply this: LIFE!!!!

Took me 25 years of life to learn. Better to say nothing then something bad. A sad poem. Anger can lead only to disappointment and sadness. A strong poem with a terrible ending.. A excellent poem.
