Someday

Someday, maybe I'll be accepted,

As the person I am today

Someday, maybe the darkness,

Will start to fade away

Someday, maybe I'll forget,

About the misery and pain

Someday, maybe what I lose,

Will be less than what I gain

Someday, maybe I'll be freed,

From the madness in my heart

Someday, maybe I'll be able to keep myself,

From hopelessly falling apart

Someday, maybe others will forgive,

All the mistakes I've made

Someday, maybe I'll find somewhere,

Away from the shadows and the shade

Someday, maybe things will vanish,

Like the fighting and aches

Someday, maybe I'll have a heart,

Others won't take advantage of and break

Someday, maybe I won't spend every night,

With tears streaming down my face

Someday, maybe I won't be depressed,

With no hopes of finding a happier place

Someday, maybe I'll have a person,

To create memories with and share

Someday, maybe I'll find someone,

To help me through this, and

Care.
