Mystery Woman

Mystery Woman

A Poem by David

Mystery Woman

Who is she

the one just there

hair slightly blowing in the wind

her perfume lingering in the air

a single rose is her mark

unfortunately that is all I have

Can you help me find her again

for she has something of mine

she has stolen my heart

right out from under me

In a wave of passion

through locked lips

I must have lost myself for a moment

never before has this happened to me

swept off my feet

My spirit is lifted to an eternal bliss

I am weightless

all the fears once feared

gone by now never to come again

Oh you must find her for me

I will pay any amount asked

she is a priceless gem

in a world crowded with &%!*

Too late now

she has escaped me

a lock of hair to remember her by

a tease she is

breaker of hearts she is

I didn't deserve her anyway

I deserve the tramp in the corner

hey wait a minute

that's her right there

Oh damn these masquerades to hell

I love it. This is such a beautiful and well flowing piece. Your imagery is magnificent. His feelings for this girl are pure and romantic yet said for she can't see him. Great piece!!!

Your words have this twisted air about them...making them not
what they seem. To me, this poem says I've loved, lost, and now
I hate women and feel insecure. It's like there are two sides to the writer.

You are very good with unique endings. I had to smile at this one.
A minor absence of a letter/ "I deserve the tramp i the corner." Good work. Rain..

Ha Ha! That ended with wonderful humor! I have felt this way before, as many others probobly have too. It was a great twist to the end of the poem. Have fun with your words a little, no need to be extremely abstract. =) Great write, keep writing!!!!
