THE EVOLUTION OF MY VAGINA

THE EVOLUTION OF MY VAGINA

A Poem by EMMIE

THE EVOLUTION OF MY VAGINA

There goes my vagina

Scaring all the good people away

Vaginally bloody through the struggle

Warrior dancing against the beat

Of the governing machine

Validated by the 19th amendment

Out of the kitchen and to the polls she went

Stripped of her right to vote no more

Sliding down into history for ever

There goes my vagina

Scaring all the good people away

Taking front seat at the Civil Rights show

Smelling like the Roses at the Parks in Alabama

Recognizing the financial woes

Armored heavy with her thick walls

Fighting green paper gaps and big American balls

Big American balls trying

To suppress the erection of the oppressed

There goes my vagina

Scaring all the good people away

Breaking glass ceilings with stilettos

Destroying corporate armored walls by

Punching them like a girl

There she is that vagina of mine

Gagging the naysayers with placenta

Making her own decisions about the power to birth nations

Until...those rights were aborted in Georgia

And after coming such a long way...

Still today…

There goes my vagina

Being forcefully entered

Being circumcised and beaten

And there she is… being blamed for it all

Receiving little to no justice

But a lifetime of pain

And maybe an unwanted baby

There goes my vagina scaring

All the good people away

Successful vaginas are scary to some

She’s the ghost under the bed

The monster in the closet

The evil dust bunny in the corner

The Devil the Bible warned you about

Tread lightly

Powerful words and thoughts. Some men fear what they don't understand. The poem made her point and I liked the honest tone. Thank you Emmie for sharing the amazing poetry.

............................Excellent poem, much deeper and with great metaphors than one would think from the title.

people are scared of what they can't understand or control...women are stronger than men in most ways...and that scares the boys...i love the play on Rosa Parks, very clever...in fact the entire poem is so tongue-in-cheek and creative....but has a strong message...and a great tone....humorous but stinging.

It's the first time I've thought of a vagina in that way! I always thought a man pushed his c**k into a vagina without thinking! It's the pleasure a tight vagina can give to both man and woman!
