WHERE DID THE BODIES GO?

WHERE DID THE BODIES GO?

A Poem by EMMIE

Striped clothes
Pants, shirts, hats, and shoes
Even little shoes of little ones
Piled up all together
In that gas chamber

Once those pants hid inhumanly scars
Once those shirts hung loose from skeletons
Once those hats covered shaved heads
Once those shoes housed bloody feet

But now...

Striped clothes have no bodies to wear

It sad.. the lengths people can go to harm each other is perplexing... your poem paints that dark picture of the truth of the world.... a world where everyday humanity is facing deadlier challenges... You have done a good job in framing this hard hitting poem.. well done :)

What men do to each other is a mystery to me. I saw a vision of children and people dying together with little hope. Hate of man can leave us in sadness. Thank you for the powerful poem. A excellent poem. Create thoughts.
