Beautiful Stranger

Beautiful Stranger

A Poem by Carissa Marie

I found a stranger
Alone with his own
Tortured cries.
His glistening tears,
Shines in the moonlight
Of a cold winter night.
His face painted,
With endured sufferings
Of his everyday life.
With every beat of his heart,
An unbearable sadness
That stings his very soul.
In the dark corner
Of his solitary pain,
I walked up to him
And whispered,
"You are most loved"
And left with the satisfaction
Of a smile.

Thanks for the review. :)
I really enjoyed the ending of this piece. It's a very lovely poem, and you've done a great job of breaking it up and describing this man. :) I did have some confusion in the beginning though. It feels like the tenses are aren't entirely consistent, and I keep getting stuck on the fourth and fifth lines.
