Love Whisperer

Love Whisperer

A Poem by Carissa Marie

Drowning in my tears you reached out your hand.
Staring into my eyes you helped me stand.
You hugged me tight and kissed my lips.
Brought out my sorrows through my fingertips.
You whispered you love me, yes you did.
Filled me with love and warmth I need.
I tried to smile, you told me to stop.
You said, a frog shouldn't walk when it wants to hop.
So you just let me cry till I fell asleep.
I cried 'til into my dreams I sunk so deep.
As I awaken, the storm disappears.
I saw you smile through my dried up tears.
Again you whispered you love me, said you do.
And finally I answered, I love you too.
