Butterflies

Butterflies

A Poem by Carissa Marie

Be a butterfly.
Envelope yourself,
From the harshness of the world.
Make a cocoon of love,
And forget about rest.
Because what's important is you,
And the rest shouldn't matter.
It would take a long time.
But don't lose hope in waiting,
For the future is yours to behold.
Believe it would be grand,
And don't let fear take over.
The pain and sorrows,
Would soon go away.
For nothing in this world lasts.
Take your time to heal,
To heal and be at peace,
And everything will soon follow.
Be a butterfly.
Soon you shall be free.
So take your wings and reach the skies.
Leave everything behind,
And know that a bright future awaits.
Believe in yourself love,
Because you are beautiful.
