dearest Chris… diving for breakfast would be a “Wake-up call”! It is the same for us as we try to wake-up and Perk the Coffee… perhaps some Bagels and lochs…. Good Morning and May your days on the River bring you Peace and 💗 Love… tenderly, Pat

at least they don't have far to go :) it is however clear to me that there is more to your Breakfast Venues than might immediately meet the eye, in effect, it is deeper than a quick glance might fathom (no pun intended) ........ Neville

I'm glad I'm not a Grebe...or am I? No, I have no feathers.
It's like everyone else has already said, the imagery is top notch. A wonderful piece.

Thank you so much for your review. Good to see you on my page.
Great imagery and cleverly written. Nature often provides some of the best subjects to write about. From your careful observations you have given us, the reader, a profound and peaceful look into a naturally occurring event.
Starkly vivid imagery.
The poetess observes and skillfully captures a uniquely perceptive perspective in nature.
Grebes are not the only creatures who regularly "dive below surface"--artists do the same.
You, Chris, clearly rate as one of the deeper divers.
