Temporal

Temporal

A Poem by Chris Shaw
"

(lyrics, muse is singing )

"
so what use is anger
inflicting self pain
let it drift from
lost remnants
there's nothing to gain

let it sail on the high seas
let it fly in blue sky
for life is for living
there's no time
to cry

veiled mists have now lifted
those ghosts have now gone
once haunted it's over
oh yes it's all over
along with your song

what remains is a memory
a flower's last bloom
pink petals have faded
there's no sense
of gloom

I love that staza. we can't dwell on disapointments and tragedy for life goes on and we must live it before our time is up. I could hear these lyrics being dung to a very hauning tune.

There's a strong message that's positive in this. I think each stanza has merit and not just filler for the next line.

You're always good Chris.

How true that is ABG. Many thanks.

there is absolutely no sense to it...but we still seem to hold onto it so hard...I don't know why.
Beautiful poem Chris....and I think our writing is one way we tend to let go.
