The secrets that the wind can know dear Chris.
"I am scatters
of diamond dust gleaming
created by the gift of sun
a dance of sporadic sparkles
spangling river ripples"
I adored the above lines. Good morning from Michigan and thank you for the amazing poetry.

It is probably best to turn off the news and turn our attention to nature in light of all the violence that is happening in the world at present. I dare say, if we all endeavoured to spend more time enjoying the tranquillity of nature we may well be more calmer for the experience. I particularly liked the image of a 'floating flotilla of leaves'. Lovely alliterated there to create that image. A very welcome distraction is your poem itself.

There's so much sheer beauty in the outer world to distract us from the inner world of loss and sadness. Your simple, direct and touching words hit home so powerfully. Always something special from you, dear Chris.

dear Chris... your poem is a dedication to all the precious Souls of young and old... as their Spirit has become sacred gold and silver of the Autumn leaves as they become the glow of a million beams of Light. softly, Pat

Definitely a distraction from the world and all of the bad news that seems to be being screamed everywhere right now. A soft, subtle, soothing piece of writing my friend.

Oh Chris, what a lovely piece. I felt carried away by your words, and learned a new one! Flotilla! Thank you for that. This is a favorite for sure. Like a warm hug.

A gorgeous poem. Every stanza echoes beauty and nature's soft sounds. I like how you contrast the wind with our warring world.
