I felt an overwhelming sadness upon reading. It was as though I opened the door into wonderland and each character acted quite differently than I know them to be, and when I tried to leave, it was like Hotel California.....
Loved your rhyming... in this, we all shall be.

I don't either... though I wish I could. Thank you for being here.
Your words truly are a fine wine with a balanced mix and match of light and dark, shade and sun, and more - much more. Good to note the flavour of Alice along with Morpheus, under the direction of that Gallic fable, although unsure as to whether or not is a 'drink immediately' or' keep in abeyance - resting'. This is writing to return to, mull over and discuss. 'We are fables' .. 'in magic mystery'.

My friend, just thankful you are a part of this story.
For as long as I have known you, (and that would be all of fifteen years) you've always had an unmistakable style that is all your own. It's good to know that some things stay true to the way you remember them. Beautiful work, my friend!

Great avatar! I love your hair!

So glad you have come by all these wondrous years. Thank YOU! And glad you love my avatar hair!
We are but fables indeed, measuring our existence slowly, act by act and scene by scene.
But how memorable some of those scenes seem to us, and others, while others are relegated to fading memory, only to be like a bolt from the blue when recalled.
When young, I would have prayed for a dramatic ending, but now, a wave and slight bow will do for me.
I do hope a more sensible person than I has written the script, or I'll end up as a "and finally" section in the news, with the most unfortunate of endings like spontaneously combusting while at the shops for milk! 😊
