Petal by Petal

Petal by Petal

A Poem by Chelsea
"

Picking the flower apart, petal by petal.

"

Petal by Petal

Picking a flower from a patch

Yanking its stem from the ground; until it breaks free

Pulling it to bits; petal by petal

He loves me, he loves me not

Petals scattered around my feet

Flower choosing my destiny

Ah yes another sappy poem. Don't know what I was thinking when I wrote this. So it made for quite the strange poem :)

I think all of us have done this at least once in our lives. Seems silly but life is too short to be serious all the time. I love the light hearted sentiment in this poem.

Those flower can give us a 50/50 chance. Better then most odds. A very good short poem. I like how you ended the poem. A very good poem. Thank you.

I used to pick petals on flowers when I was little. Good job!

I don't normally like these sort of poems, but this one works.
