Holy Mary

How humble she was;

Sheltered in a dark manger,

Enceinte Madonna.

Well done, Marie Harrison. Very well done. You know, I'm not so given to poetic works which tread upon an apparent liking of Christianity (I mean no offense; it's a long story, trust me), but I really like this. This is a great senryu, Ms, and I don't even feel as if though I'm betraying myself by saving it as a favorite. I'm not sure how...convinced...you are, where this faith is concerned, but I almost feel as if you might being her homage. Great piece.
