I'd steal his 67' drop-top candy-apple red Camaro

and race the sun out West

Buy a condo on the beach and sprawl out naked on a California king-sized bed.

...if I were you

 

I'd steal the brightest star from the California kissed night air

Place it on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

and sign it in big-bold f**k you letters saying:

"I can make it anywhere!"

...if I were you

 

I'd steal all of the hearts that's ever done me wrong

and burn them while drinking margaritas sea-side

Listening to an old Jimmy Buffett song

...if I were you

 

I'd sit and reminisce

About someone I truly loved

Piss on those burning hearts

Then crawl back into that California king-sized bed

and quickly call me up

...if I were you.
