My Imaginarium's Projector

My Imaginarium's Projector

A Poem by Chris Micha
"

Still playing in my theatre.

"
My Imaginarium's Projector

Still playing in my theatre
On my imaginarium's projector
Recorded through synaptic lenses
I watch a vivid beautiful memory

Her Jovani-Persian-red-ornate dress
Set fire to my eyes
I imagined what it would look like
On the floor, in my mind

The watermelon martini
Was reflecting in her sparkling-blues
Causing multiple colors to mingle
Creating intoxicating hues

Her curly-dirty blonde hair
Was bouncing on golden springs
Getting high on the night
And the wings of the spirited drinks

Her naked-natural pink lips
Were syncing to a Lionel Richie song
Inviting me to come play with her--
"All Night Long"

That "Come here!" innocent grin
Was all I needed to hear
She sent the words "I want you!"
Ringing deep into my ears

In a candle scented room
Her hands were asking for more
I unzipped the Persian-red-ornate dress
And it fell willingly to the floor

The cool-silk Egyptian sheets
Welcomed two hot-excited bodies
That was quickly solidfied in history
A moment that defied all logic.

I love this! What a beautiful story you told. The imagery and passion was intoxicating and you lured out desires for my dress to be on the floor. Oh, and now I can't get "All night long" out of my head! Hahaha! Fantastic work! Favorite for sure! xo (:

I could see her dance, in that (as I imagine kind of Spanish red-flamenco dress) to add another country there ;-) that turns around in a perfect circle, around her axle while she dances. This is so utterly beautifully written Christian, it's the perfect romance, seen through the eyes of a man. Well done ;)

Of course it was, you wrote it. ;)
Such a night this guy had! I love how you told a story in the form of poetry. I have attempted this myself; it is challenging! The only problem I have with this is the inconsistency with ryhme. You ryhmed blues and hues, more and floor, but eyes and mind don't ryhme nor do bodies and logic. As far as I'm concerned this poem sounded great when I read it. You're very good at expressing yourself and your ideas through poetry. I find I tend to rely too much on ryhme. Nothing was forced here! A job well done!
