What if...

You & I...

Existed in the collective thoughts of fate

Spinning aimlessly around in our cocoons

Until we collided to birth into a beautiful disaster of infinite parallels

 

What if...

You & I... 

Were the cortex that held together time

While being sheathed by the fabric of forever

Would we collapse time and trust in forever?

 

What if...

You & I...

Could be the endless possibilities of everything

Where everything led us to the creation of endless possibilities

Where we would be the exception to all the things that are not possible

 

But...

What if...

You & I...

Just simply belong together

The traditional soul mates of whatever this all means in the context of reality

And we just simply loved beyond all of the "What if's...."

 

Would that be so bad?

Yes, please!! Ugh, this is exquisite! I cannot even describe the power behind this poem. "What if" indeed. But the unknowns in life are the true adventures. Same goes for the love you have expressed here. We never know, so love is the greatest adventure every person embarks on.

What if love did not sustain our every need?
I think life would have no meaning.

Well, I went on a personal tangent there and I'm not sure if you'll follow or care to try to make sense of the mess in my mind. BUT, this was a great and thoughtful write. Beautiful. :)
