Song for my brother

I want laughter

and conversations long and thought out

and I want friendship

with memories that never die out

but something's there

stopping you

from reaching out and wanting that too

the olive branch 

can only go so far

at some point it will break my heart

and your

brain is smart

but boy that head of yours is stubborn and hard

you won't let me in

but you let it all out

We don't have long

soon our chance will be gone

I want closeness

I want us to know each other

and I want normal

I want you to act like my brother

but something's there 

stopping you

from reaching out and wanting that too

I know very well

that I've fucked up

But thats in the past please let it up

Cause your

brain is smart

but boy, that head of yours is stubborn and hard

your cutting tongue

hurts too much. I'm done.
