regreting

regreting

A Poem by corey bullock

torn and helpless left to cry

a fragile body left to die

confide within a silver blade

cutting away to make his life fade

bleeding through his black clothes

his lifes a mess but no one knows

watch his life fall apart

just because of a broken heart

watch him give up as he takes out his blade

and adds to the cuts he has already made

one more cut is all it takes

to earse his past and his mistakes

once the cuts made his decision is set

no turning back no time to regret

as his body falls and his tattered wrists bleed

he wishes his suicide does not succeed

Very tragic.
"as his body falls and his tattered wrists bleed

he wishes his suicide does not succeed"

This helps to show just how human we are.

Ohh soooo overwhelmingly sad.. love can do many things but I would hope that a relationship would never have this type of effect on a person.. if so get help right away! Your last 2 stanzas pop right out and the whole piece was riveting and disturbing.. please love yourself first.. if someone else doesn't then they aren't worth your time or energy!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!

Wow, I'm stunned. Every line was so tragically sad. The truth that lies beneath this piece is sad because people do this and use this way to escape pain so often. They don't realize what they're doing until the end.
But what they don't know is that there hurting the people around them.
Then again, we're only human.
I loved it this poem.
