These words will miss my lips

by more than a mile

so all I hope by this

may be meaningless

a chance to fill in the void

of a endless universe

in which my muted star

pales in comparison

I can not pour out these words

that do not come

I am not the roaring tiger

I thought I once was

unfortunately i know this feeling quite well. it's hard to feel like a "muted star" in a sky full of others that burn so bright that you fear you're no longer seen. great write.

The roar of tigers should not be mistaken for bravery. Tigers roar because it is merely their nature. But courage is very often nothing more than a whisper from one, who once before, might have remained silent. Lovely poem.
