Willy-Nilly:

Willy-Nilly:

A Poem by carl
"

remembering some of my grandmother's words

"

Willy-Nilly:

It all began as something quite lovey-dovey and silly

when Willy's hurly-burly action referred to Nelly as Nilly

"I know it's not your real name, pardon the disjointment-

hope the change in diction won't be a fly in the ointment?"

Nelly, who was now Nilly supported the sweet vignette

replying with the blazed cheeks of a winsome coquette-

"Not a problem, Willy, I think it is actually quite cute-

and in your present psychosis a fine hunky-dory juex."

Then there ensued the propagation of abundant amour

with several occurrences of obvious wishy-washy tenure-

most of them took place during a gibbous vermeil moon

some in the park, some in the dark, and most all in june.

But of course, in the course of any hanky-panky action

it loses attraction and requires topsy-turvy extraction-

Willy turns Wily and reverses the Nilly-Nelly deviance

bringing an end to their amorous dilly-dally dalliance.

But if Willy and Nilly where just being silly then Willy would be Nillyness and...oh, my head hurts! ☺

I don't think that Willy's Nelly being turned to a Nilly
is any more silly
than was Peggy-Sue fallin into her stew
Just sayin

appreciate your time to read and comment, thanks - carl
Carl,
Because being serious just makes me curious, as to exactly what you mean...
inclinations to read and read again while knocking of half a bottle of gin
thinking about the deviant Dally -Dillying Wily Willy does with Nelly Nilly.
