Thought 2

Thought 2

A Poem by CRZ

The world is passing me by.

Society is just aging me and all the fears are just burning me

But

.........If I stay young in my heart, I'll be fresh for an eternity

Formaldehyde helps. :)

No seriously, I see what you are saying. And yes, never lose the magic of youth. You can do so by keeping love and hope in your heart.

You can't be fresh for eternity and if anybody ever wasn't aged by the society surrounding them I think that would be very sad. It should age us. It should make us wise and make us weary. There is no shame in aging. There is no shame in ripening.

but good, quick poem. I enjoyed reading it. It did make me think about things and I always ask for poems to do just that!

I've always said I'll never grow up, and my spirit feels much younger than my 61 years, but damn, this life can age the body, tire one out!@
