The feeling of loving someone who is not available

Bitter sweet

 

From nowhere a wave of sadness engulfs my every thought

Encompassing my very soul, a bitter pain I've bought

The heavy price for loving the woman who I adore

Unleashing my emotions I can't hide them anymore

 

This feelings like a panic, can't sleep or run or hide

Can't concentrate on anything till this panic does subside

So shall I stray or wander, avoid this painful path

Retreat from bitter heartache and hope to void it's stinging wrath

 

Perhaps one day in another life her heart it may mine

So I pray for change in circumstance, walk fortunes fickle line

But still I live in hope one day that dreams are realised

And contentment is restored once more my soul revitalised

 

Then love will soar unfettered released from mortal chains

No more biting heartbreak and no more bitter pains

An end to tears of sadness no more my breaking heart

A day of jubilation when lovers shall not part
