Get My Demons Drunk

I have been asked to write lyrics for a few songs a friend wrote… these are the first ones… when they got it recorded may I can find a way to post it here.

Verse  1

 

Looking through the bottom of a glass

 Is like staring into the mirror of my past,

The clarity through a rum colored window

Brings focus to my wrinkles from living fast,

Losing the lady that should have been my lifeline

To endless good times not built to last.

Sounds like Eminem could rap this one, I've noticed you're into demons lately Dale....good rhythm, I could dance to it. :) Verse 2 is my favorite, how long do you have to stay in purgatory for this offense I wonder...
