The Rainbow And Humanity

The Rainbow And Humanity

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

seeing this rainbow the other day got me thinking

"

Within the rainbow

is the same air I breathe

flowing so naturally

as the oxygen through my lungs.

Over the rainbow

is the very same heaven

that created us both,

each with our own unique traits.

The end of the rainbow

touches the same soil

I journey upon everyday

while discovering Mother Nature.

So it makes me think

that this rainbow is no different

then you and me…

So why does it’s colors

blend so harmoniously

for the world to see

yet colors still clash amongst humanity.

So why does it’s colors
blend so harmoniously
for the world to see
yet colors still clash amongst humanity.

A most profound poem, with a great message therein,we may never know

the answers to why the colors still clash among humanity, if only the world

could indeed live and blend in harmony, 'alas that cannot be,there will
always be a indifferences of life....

Superb Pen Dale!

Love this and yes, a good question .. the rainbow blends and has no favorite color .. all together the colors shine to makes a beautiful rainbow for us ..I heard a pastor say the rainbow was a seal of God's promise to never destroy the earth by water.. so maybe this is why ?

You poems are beauties to look and a food for thought ..

very nice cowboy, I suppose like the colors of the rainbow they always stay the same, like the colors of people past on from generation to generation they too stay the same..

Beautiful and intense.. Reminds me of RACISM and how all of us people should just get along and accept others no matter what because we all breathe the same air and such. I shelved this in my faves.

It is always the question in this world we live in, why do people discriminate? We all deserve the same opportunities....this piece really makes me stop and think and wonder about things, some of which i'll never understand.
Great poem!
