My Heart's Desire

I will make it clear that this is not for anyone on this site... it is for my dear friend Shannon who is married but does not stop my heart from feeling what it does.

 

Circumstances may prevent

Full disclosure of the heart,

It won’t prevent you from being

The cloud nine that lifts my soul.

You are the sweet surprise

That has spiced up my life.

It only takes one thought from you

To light up the inspiration in my mind.

It only takes one thought of you

To get my attention to rise.

It only takes one sentiment inside you

To make me feel like I am special.

Miles and obligations may

Keep you and me from being one

But that don’t keep you

From making my life feel complete.

You are the perfect combination

Of class and sexiness

So let me say this to you in French

Cause that is how I want to kiss you…
