Stormy Eyes

Stormy Eyes

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Rage in the hurricane

Of the eyes

Releases all the pain

The fragile clouds can handle.

Catch those droplets

In a measuring cup;

Not to determine

How much water fell

From that darkened sky,

But to remind yourself

How grateful you are

For the blessing of the storm.

Give the captured downpour

Freely to your angel

Thirsting to taste what you feel

So when they kiss your cheek

The lips are tender enough

To soften a hardened heart.
