Crystal Eyes

Crystal Eyes

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

With her crystal eyes she can see

Deep into the part of me not touched by light
Like the new seeds planted in the earth.
When she looks at me I feel like
The hero I’ve never been
The savior I could never be
But through her crystal eyes
I feel that is the real me.

Looking into her crystal eyes
I see such untainted beauty
So beautiful it makes the Garden Of Eden
into a plain landscape of grass and trees.
She quenches my minds thirst
feeds my hungry heart
And protects my damaged soul.

Through her crystal eyes
It’s clear to see I am potential land
And she is the miracle rain.

Dale,
Thank you for putting this in our profile section so I could read it! It is just lovely, as it is calming and filled with admiration and love for another. From the beginning to the end it is beautiful!
I love the last lines............
Through her crystal eyes
It's clear to see I am potential land
And she is the miracle rain
..........just lovely!
Now, just throw in a rainbow for blessings, and you have the fill package!

Wow. This was truly magical and spellbinding. The last stanza was my favorite. The beginning was a mixture of emotion and wanting and I loved the progression. Truly beautiful poem. Crystal eyes~ it sounds so mysterious and magical!

really brilliant floating poem. often these are very difficult to write without falling into a trap of overdoing the 'loving' feeling this has. I can tell you have thought this out as it all ties really well into the final stanza.

I love the view from these crystal eyes...so enchanting and
bewitching this poem is. These first couple of stanzas really
grip the reader: With her crystal eyes she can see

Deep into the part of me not touched by light
Like the new seeds planted in the earth.
When she looks at me I feel like
The hero I've never been
The savior I could never be
But through her crystal eyes
I feel that is the real me.

I love these lines:) AD

Crystal eyes like crystal balls you can see your future - if you believe in the magic and allow your mind to penetrate the fog. Interesting concept - and I like how it speaks of the spiritual side of a person beyond the physical.

You have the true capability to dazzle with your words and show the tenderness in your heart on paper. A gorgeous poem with a different outlook - through someone elses eyes that see love. Very endearing and so well written!

Breathtaking, Dale. I love your title. Speaks of purity and the ability to see into someone's soul with ease...I absolutely love the imagery in this. You spoke of so many things within this piece that are important in a relationship. The flow is outstanding...

A wonderful write. Carole
