State Of the Unknighted Nations

State Of the Unknighted Nations

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Worldwide

            Whispers

      With

Tornado

            Tendencies

      Take

Fabricated

            Flight

      Fast

Over hollowed ground,

Inflating deceased veins:

      Effect…

Superficial reincarnation,

Genetic miscarriage.

An empty graveyard

Now fills the void

Of sacred emotions.

Decaying flesh

Becomes the symbol of freedom;

The cry of the wolf,

      The new national anthem.

The sun now shines

With the motivation of a spotlight,

The respect of a flashlight.

The shadows and fog corporate merge

Just so night and day

are no longer different.

Underground

Unity

      Ultimately

Beckons

            Belligerent

Bishops

Into

            Inconceivable

      Immortality

Leaving the human race

In a state of suspended animation.

Ok this is SOO awesome, except I hate (lol sorry!), the way it's written in all caps. Maybe you're trying to scream at the reader? Hah, I'm not to sure. I mean your words are LOUD and powerful enough that I think it would have just worked nicely on its own. Yes everything should be emphasized and "in your face" with this, but tone it down will ya? ;-D Haha I'm kidding. It's perfect.

wow...you pulled out all the stops with this one!! I really like the intense flavor of this one and the way you opened and closed with alliteration. The message inside was excellent and multilayered with meanings...I love it! It is going into my favs.

Just as your words descend with increased emotion, so the world turns into oblivion, and mankind's hell bent attitude of self destruction heads closer into the fast lane of reality.. BOOM!....THE HUMAN RACE IS CAST INTO A STATE OF SUSPENDED ANIMATION....heading where????
Very deep, and insightful..almost prophetic!

This piece shows you truly have a passion for writing. Every line is packed with emotions. "Decaying flesh becomes the symbol of freedom." That line comes with a huge punch. Great job.

Quite dramatic. Sounds like where the world is headed today, the US along with it, heading someplace not so nice, actually very ugly, where life doesn't matter at all anymore. That's what your poem spoke to me. A very nice and powerful write, like how you presented your words. Excellent, I really like this one a lot.
