My Crimson Tears

My Crimson Tears

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

My Crimson Tears

M y crimson tears fall relentlessly down my cheeks

Y our memory haunts my every waking hour

C rimson is the color of my heart as it bleeds

R ealizing I must face this world alone

I  close my eyes and I can still see you

M y thoughts go backward in time
S o many memories together we made

O h why did you have to leave me in such travail

N ightmares have taken over my dreams

T ears stream down my face

E ndless rivers of despair

A dark world awaits me without you

R elease me from this pain I beg of you

S omeone come and wash away the agony of my crimson tears

Only you can wash away the tears... For only you know how to heal. you cannot rely on others to heal you, for only you can do that... A great image you painted... Good job
