The loneliness I hide

It seems nothing has changed
But it's worse than before
I'm left to wonder
Who do I really know
Neither Family nor friends
When I sit in a crowd of familiar faces
I am invisible
I am lost
I am always alone
For none really know me
Yet all see a outline of me without detail
Cause even in a room with the closest of friends
I feel alone
I feel like an outcast
I feel empty
I feel uncomfortable
But at the end of my day my comfort returns
As I return to my prison cell
My place of peace
My room
To sit in comfortable solitude
