His Death

His Death

A Poem by Accalia
"

It's about some of the rumors (about a relationship) that were spread about me when I was in high school. Of course the rumors aren't true.

"
His Death.
Close to me, he found his death,
By my side, he found no rest
How I tried- I did my best-
To love him wholly, and forget the rest,

It is hard to watch him go-
Where he went I do not know
Is he with the angels high?
Or down below, where tears flow by,
If I knew I'd go insane
In his death, I found my fame,
I sit here in this cold black rain-
On these tracks- I'll find my train-

Really, this is too relatable... Gah, today is something...

This reminded me of the people I've lost in my family, these thoughts that endlessly wonder on where they may be, if they are with God or somewhere else. In our lives here, we may never know and the only option we have is to remember them to keep their spirits alive. Great job!

Beautiful writing.. I could understand the emotions well and what you said is true. I liked reading this and the rhymes as well.
