A moment from God

A moment from God

A Poem by Baby Ricochet
"

Have you ever gotten a moment of clarity and you could see through the veil your ego throws up and for just a moment you touched divinity? This is one of those moments for me

"
Life is a moment
On your breath

Life is a gift
Heaven sent

Life is precious
and multifold

Life is action
and manifold

A beautiful life
Is in our grasp

We can't see it
it goes right past

Life is still
Slow it down

Life will move
With you around

Just be still
For a while

Watch the ants
as they perspire

Leaves will fall
Time will pass

You will know
yourself at last

A beautiful moment
A warm embrace

Breath the moment
Breath the grace

Sitting still in A
Moment of bliss

Thank your life
For all you miss

Quickie phone write. I have these moments where out of the blue I can hear God. I don't mean Gods "talking to me" or I'm speaking in tongues or some bullshit like that. I mean like suddenly everything makes stupid simple sense as if a 4 year old would know it. Like just genuinely love everyone for no good reason. Sometimes I'm amazed how much God can put up with from me and still show up from out of nowhere and make me say, Damn, why do I ignore you most of the time? I'm retarded

I feel like this sometimes...mostly your author's note; like, why have I abandoned my faith? I mean, I know why I abandoned my religion, my Catholicism, but why have I abandoned my faith? This is an incredibly thought provoking piece...one which has made me examine my own core values, and I cannot thank you enough for that.

Oh dear what is this God thing? Both America and The Arab world are obsessed with the idea that somehow a mystical imaginary being is on their side (same being different name). Good things are good because they are intrinsically good and bad things because they are bad or mankind or individuals think they are.
Nice observation of some good things.

Thank you Mr Man
I know those moments when we get simple yet enlightening thoughts and we say, "Hey! How did I not think like that before?"

You could not have put it more accurately. Again we have to thank God for his unconditional and all-encompassing love. The signs are all there.

The poem is a wonderful tribute to all the beauty we oftne miss to notice, running through life with blinkers on.

Thanks for sharing Baby! A different and great write was this!
