Oklahoma

A Poem by Baby Ricochet
"

For the people of Moore Oklahoma.

"

My heart was broken in Oklahoma
Jewel of the Midwest
A twisted hand screamed from the sky
and ripped it from my chest

My broken body was smashed to pieces
Thrown down on the street
I was nothing but a ripped up rag doll
Cowering at her feet

My blood my bones my life's existence
The muscle under my skin
Wrapped around her indifferent fingers
trapped in her deadly spin

She doesn't know and she doesn't care
The Wind Zephyr of death
She screamed across our great heartland
She was on my last breath

There's nothing left she took it all
With her blinding fury
Disappeared into her vile black sky
Leaving dead to bury

It has been such a tragic day. Nature doesn't hold back. All we can do is pray and help the best we can.

That's for sure
we've been having tornado warnings since February . . . seems like more and more they are not just a spring storm anymore . . . god bless all those affected by the tragedy

Pray for them. THey're gonna need it
God this strikes the gut of the midwest. I'm just visiting Canada mind you..my heart and home is in the fields and this time of year is scares the b-jesus out of me. We don't know real fear until it takes away our shelter...and threatens our families. When our safety is breeched our insecurites become real. God bless these people..and God protect the rest of us that so far have been spared from God's wraith.

For the rest of us...I keep thinking it's not a matter of "if"..but "when"
