The world is a minefield and I'm tired of being rocked.

The world is a minefield,

and truth be told

I never recovered from the shock.

"The world is a minefield,"

She said as she walked

right over a field of flowers

ground from rubble into dust.

yes, those flowers can be deceiving....look like love roses but end up being thorny thickets of heart blasts that leave us rocked, shocked and alone.
