And that my tongue is made of glue,
I’m sorry I don’t know what to say
When I’m face-to-face with you.

I’m sorry that I ramble,
About nothing, half the time,
It’s just because I trust you,
Even though you are not mine.

I’m sorry that I blush,
And that I always seem to stare,
It’s just when I don’t see you
I assume you aren’t there.

I’m sorry I can’t believe
That me and you could ever be,
It’s hard to wrap my head around
You wanting to be with me.

I’m sorry I’m apologizing,
But my flaws are all I see,
And I hope you know that I’ll forgive you
If that’s what draws you away from me.

Well, what this piece brings to mind is this... If a person can't love you for your flaws and faults as well as your good traits, then they don't have any need to be lov'n ya. On the flip side of that... If you can't love all the aspects about yourself, there's no reason for ya to be seeking or expecting love in or out of any body else either...
So the bottom line of this piece to me is.... Find what you are... learn to love it as the bright spark that it is and then go find other bright sparks... don't waste time on the sparks that are guttering out or try to suck your spark away...

Powerful Ink you've created. It's got a good flow to it....
One piece of suggestion.... try not to start lines with the words "And..." It takes away from the general power of a piece.
