Melody

Melody

A Poem by Doctor Deathstab

I color sororicide, but the deed keeps turning grey

There’s one more year in hell for each dragon I slay

But consequence is nothingness compared to my contempt

My life is violence and sisters are not exempt

She paints her pretty face to highlight what makes me sore

Her makeup digs a grave and the vacancy calls for gore

In the perfect dream and meditation scheme

She’s my messiah queen and necromancer fiend

We dance a graveyard waltz on yellow submarines

When I think of her I think of sex machines

My little Melody is such a spelling bee

Like a wicked witch she put a spell on me

I’m a zombie prince with a biting kiss

In any other realm I’ve never felt like this

Very well done. I'm impressed. I'm no expert on rhyme and meter, on alliteration and all that stuff, but I recognize a good poem when I see one.

I've added it to my library; and I look forward to more soon!

I am a new breed of poet. I write what I feel and don't give a damn what others think. I am vulgar at times, but my thinking ability goes deeper than obscenities. (Did I spell that right?) So read bet.. more..
