![]() Organization Zero- Chapter 3A Chapter by Angie Diane♥♥
Chapter 3 The new power I began gave me a power crystal and my outfit changed again. It was still black and pink, but it was more like an outfit you would see at the prom. My other outfit was just like sweatpants and a belly shirt. When my new power came out Michael looked as astonished as I felt. The look on Elena’s face was just as surprised as Michael’s. Michael looked scared out of his mind. I don’t know what I could do with that power. I could feel that my strength was increasing though. Elena and Michael were still staring at me. “Michael, let’s just stop fighting now. I think my power could kill you,” I said. I punched the wall and the whole wall was knocked down after the punch. “Whoa,” said Elena. “Are you that strong, Elena,” Michael asked. “No, her power surpasses mine. That’s the reason the other organization is after her,” she said. Chris came inside after she said that. He looked over to where I was standing. “What happened to the wall,” Chris asked. “Your friend over there punched it and it came down pretty fast,” Michael said. Chris stared at me wide eyed. I looked at the ground. ‘ “Did she reach her second form?” “I think she did. No one else reached their second form. That is amazing since she has only been in the organization for one day,” Elena said. “No wonder the organization is after her,” Chris said. “They are probably trying to steal her power,” Mike said. “That could be true, but she won’t let anyone protect her,” Elena said. “Why not, Aimi,” Chris asked me. “Well Chris I am pretty strong,” I said. “I think you need protection just incase you get attacked by someone stronger then you,” Chris responded. “I really don’t care what you think,” I told him. “Fine don’t care what I think, but just do you know I don’t care about you,” he said. “You really don’t have to care considering the fact that I am stronger then you,” I said. He was quiet for a while. “You are right about that. I’m sorry about saying I don’t care about you,” Chris answered a few minutes later. “It’s alright I’m over it,” I said to Chris. “Are you ready to go home,” he questioned. “Yes, why,” I responded. “I want to go with you,” he said. “Alright then I’m ready to go,” I told him. We walked out of the base and went to his car in silence. He drove to my house. “Are you okay,” Chris asked. “I’m okay. Why do you ask,” I questioned. “You look sad and tired,” he explained. “Oh, I am getting a little tired,” I told him. “I wonder if it was because you unlocked more power,” Chris said. “It might be,” I said. “You still look sad,” Chris said. “I am sad,” I responded. “You are? What happened?” “My uncle has been sick for a while and we just found out he really has cancer,” I said. “I’m sorry are you going to be okay,” he asked. “I will be okay,” I said. “Good,” he said. “I will be sadder if he dies,” I told him. “It must be hard for you then,” he said. “Yes,” I told him. “You can’t get over a death can you,” he asked. “It depends,” I said. “You are a crazy girl,” Chris said. “Thanks,” I said sarcastically. “Well it’s a good thing to be crazy,” Chris said. “You’re right,” I said. After I said that we walked into my house. My family wasn’t home and they left a note on the refrigerator. ‘Be back soon and remember to call,” I read the note in my head. “Where is the bathroom,” Chris asked me. “Down the hallway to the left,” I answered. “Okay thanks,” Chris said and walked down the hallway. I decided it was a good time to start dinner. I called my Mom’s cell phone, but there was no answer. I tried my Dad next, but he didn’t answer either. Then I tried to call the phone I shared with my sisters. Neither one of them answered. I heard a knock at my door and when I opened it a police was standing in front of me. “How may I help you,” I asked the officer. “Are you Aimi,” asked the officer. “Yes,” I responded. “I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but your whole family was killed in a drive by shooting. They were shot in the head. They died instantly when they got hit,” the police officer told me. He walked away without a goodbye. I dropped the spatula that I was holding. Chris came into the kitchen. I ran up to my room and I saw the look on Chris’ face. He looked worried because of why I ran up to my room. A second later I heard a knock on my door. I didn’t say anything and I was crying. Chris entered the room and sat in a chair that was across from my bed. “What’s wrong,” he asked me. “My family was killed in a drive by shooting,” I answered. “That’s horrible are you going to be okay,” he asked. “I don’t want to live in this house by myself,” I told him. “You can come live with my family if you want. You could become my younger sister,” Chris said. I hugged Chris and he looked surprised. “Do you think your Mom will take me in,” I asked him. “Yes, she loves taking in things that need a home. She runs an animal adoption center,” Chris said. We drove over to his house. We walked in and called out a hit. We walked into his kitchen. “Hey Mom, my friend, Aimi just lost her family. Can she live with us,” he asked his Mom. “Aww she can stay with us. I’m going to get her adoption papers,” she responded. “Thank you. I have to get all my things,” I said. “I’ll go with her Mom,” he said. “Are you okay with this Aimi,” he asked me after a few moments of silence. “Yes, you are a good friend despite the fact you threatened me,” I said. “Now I’m your older brother,” he said. I rolled my eyes and we continued walking to my old house. I know I was going to miss that house. My room that I had all to myself. I don’t know if I’ll like the house I’m going to be living at. “Are you okay you’re quiet,” Chris asked. “I’m just thinking,” I said. “Are you okay though,” he asked. “I’m fine,” I said. “What are you thinking about,” he asked. “The good times I had with my family,” I responded. “I’m sorry you have to go through this,” he told me. “Thanks well let’s get my things,” I said. “You don’t want to be in the house,” he asked. “Not really,” I said. “Alright then get your stuff,” he demanded me when we got there. I glared at him and he smiled at my expression. I packed all of my stuff. As soon as I was done I locked the door and couldn’t handle being near the house. At “I’m going to bed goodnight everyone,” I said. I was tired and needed to get some sleep. I wanted to cry some more as well as sleep. I didn’t want to cry in front of everyone. I really can’t handle the death of my family. I cried until I fell asleep at eleven. © 2010 Angie Diane♥♥Reviews
