I have no idea where this poem came from, it just came to me while I was reading another poem here. The format is odd with a 3-5-5 syllable count and the word 'Nothing' appears in the first line in the first stanza, the second line in the second stanza and the third line in the third stanza. I didn't notice this until after it was done.

Short but real, moving and very true.
Its true life changes sometimes for good, sometimes not so good.
I loved the rhyming and as i said how REAL this piece was :)
Keep writing :)
Ohh, funny how you didn't notice it until after it was done. Haha. This poem just mirrored my mood and yes, it's like the skies turned grey and you just helplessly watch it change because you can't do anything about it.

"Nothing new
Deny things and go
Life stays the same"
Lol. Just inspired by your poem format which I usually read from Aethereal.
But you innovated it with the position of "nothing" in each stanza. Great!

In fact, I haven't been in poem mode for months now, as I'm desperately trying to finish book 6 of my second trilogy. It is approaching 800 pages in length, making it my largest book yet. Thanks for reading this poem.

You're welcome, Eddie.
If the second stanza happened to be 7 syllables. This would have been a Haiku/Senryu. In mutiples of three or Trigeminy. This is true. Nothing really new under the sun. It appears sometimes that situations and circumstances happens whether we like it, want it, deserves it or plan it. Things happened for no apparent reason. And it does change just like the season without undue provocation or premonitions.
This piece reminds of a song by Keith Urban " You'll Think Of Me " ... Short but speaks volume. Thanks for sharing Eddie ...
