DISROBING YOUR FAÇADE

DISROBING YOUR FAÇADE

A Poem by Echoes of Eros
"

Removing your artificial robes...

"

Removing your artificial robes

Pulling down the uncertainty

Want to see your skin.

Undressing your make believe

Desire for flawlessness, no fuss

Don’t hide from me.

Stripping away your superficial skin

Your apprehension; need to be perfect

Wanting the real you.

Casting off your charade

Want to see your doubts, fears

Expose your soul.

Peeling back the pretense

Perplexity, trepidity, anxiety

Reveal who you are.

Shedding your deceiving shell

Restlessness, reservations

I perceive them all.

Disrobing your façade

Until you stand before me

Completely bare.

Good stuff, keep writing! The entire feel of this has a depth I have only seen once before on this site.
Beautiful...that's all.
