His Kingdom

I wish to be there, soon.

Let me tell you a place I never been to before,
High up in the world we live in.

A dream I had,
It felt so real.

The mountains I climbed,
The Orange Sky I saw.

The air around me felt so thin,
Climbing the mountain was not a challenge.

The clouds were as cool as the breeze that blew upon me,
The stones were not rough as they seemed but were rather soft as I imagined.

I can hear the sound of a glorious awe,
The beautiful harmony fills my heart with gladness.

He then spoke to me,
"Welcome to My Kingdom."

But it was only a dream.

Your poem describes a very beautiful place where I think most of us would like to end up, so to speak. I'd like to think we're not ending up anywhere, we're just moving on in our journey. Very nice job on this.
