THE MARVELOUS LIGHT

 

 

On the day we will stand on the rim of eternity

we want to be faithful, resolute, and strong

not flinching about the life behind us

but ready for the glory to come.

we must live our lives faithfully

in order to step into the sanctity

living according to his plan

and proclaiming his word to all man

The days will never be easy

for salvation comes after a fight

see you would never appreciate sunshine

if God never gave you the cold of night

we must never fear the Devil's shadow

or the blows he throws in our battle

for he locked on you at birth

because he has always known your worth

But remember from first breath,

first second, and day one

your victory was already won

So when your mortal eyes finally dimmer

and God gives you your eternal sight

step boldly into the mystery of glory

and the peace of God's Marvelous Light.
