AS WE LOVE

 

 

 

As We Love

Millions are

Blind to the truth

Living in blood

Hiding from their roots

And the love above

Looking for the sun

And finding night

Pain feeds the land

No thoughts of right

Hot fists to the face

There are screams of pain

We are living in the world

Of the criminally insane

Crying on our knees

Almost every night

Pleading for God

To make it right

Evil men denying

The bloody gloves

As millions of prayers

Ring above

Its time for us all

To take a stand

To come together

In the unity of man

Rejecting all the evil

And all the lies

Turning our heads

To the sky

For God promised

He would heal the land

If we pray and adhere

To his great plan

So reach for his mercy

And his wisdom too

Knowing he will always show us

What to do

And as we pray on our knees

To the Lord above

Know he will grant all our needs

As We Love
