Giving In?

Giving In?

A Story by unspokenguilt
"

a conversation between a girl and a boy

"
You and your body has to have it
You’re of the age he insists
Legally
You can’t tell me you never thought of it
You can’t say you don’t want it

I can say whatever I want

But will you mean it?
Will you take me when you’re weak?
Despite your words
Despite your efforts to ward me off

I’m stronger than that

Will you crumble underneath me… or tremble as you claim?
Will you refuse me when I call your name?
When I come I’ll not hesitate to take you
Tell me do you feel this way?

I have a way of thinking before I act

Do you consider that a curse or a crime?

I don’t believe it’s bad

But with it can you honestly say your living?

I’m breathing, am I not?

What’s life without risks?
Surely it’s boring?

I’m not going to say I haven’t thought of it
I’ll give you that
But I’d rather be safe then sorry.

Curious?

Curiosity killed the cat, or in this case got it pregnant

I could use a rubber
It could be real quick
Or longer if you’d like

I’m offended
You’re making me sick

Don’t be a prude
You’ll like it
You’ll see

Insult me…that works
That’ll surely get you your way

I didn’t mean it
Like that

Of course not
Just anything to get in my pants

*smiles*
I’m better than that

I’m sure

Ok so we agree…you and me?

-Sigh-
Quite possibly

…You’re so pushy

Wouldn’t have it any other way

but i'm better than that

I really like this. I've come across this subject before, but here its honest and real.

"Curiosity killed the cat, or in this case got it pregnant"-loved it! And it's true, I have a friend (whom I love dearly) who got pregnant when she was only sixteen. She's now 24, like me, and has three kids.

I really liked the last part, the way the conversation drifts. The "I'm better than that" is really spot on. I knew it was better to wait and so I did. And I'm glad I did.

An excellent piece, really well thought out. Kudos!

I hope that she IS strong. It is so hard but the self-confidence that she will feel in the long run will be better than the condemnation that she feels later.

This was great. It shows the different ways Boys/men try and push themselves on to a girl.

I hope she stays strong.

waiting is the best thing you can do.

I want to say such an impressive piece, this is!! Way to go! It's is so good that you spoke out, and got ur message across that u are much smarter and that u think before you do something. I really love this. The exchange of words between 2 people in the poem was very creative! Nice work!

Oooh I like this poem, the two people talking can be identified really clearly, due to the changing font colors.

Very common issue among alot of people, although rarely mentioned...
