There's No Sunshine When She Is Gone

There's No Sunshine When She Is Gone

A Poem by Mirror

Who said we men don't also have a challenge?
The hours spent to keep the company together,
The moments to remind friends I am still their man,
The time I look forward to spend in the night with you,
Even the time I have to know my inner man.

Who said I can go on without you?
The time I pour out my burdens to you,
The nights we spend trying to look for way out,
Those things that can keep our love together,
Even the egg shells you help me pick.

Who Said Life is fair without you?
It can be the way I thought I can do it all alone,
"Bone up, man, you can do it bro'"
Or the times I hid behind the veil of pride
Even the times behind the car wheel i cried

Baby, I miss you so
Not because you are too perfect for me
But because you taught me how to fall in love
with the sunny imperfections only us can smile to
Now that you are gone, where is the sun in my smile?

Remember when you told me you don't want to be involved with drama or deal with me in any way? So what's up with leaving the follow comment on my work about 15 minutes ago? "@Debbie, please read his name. You are talking with a living corpse without home training and respect. Ignore him. he doesn't know anything... leave him to keep blabbing."

If you say you are going to do something, stick to it. You decide the level of interaction we have. Stay away from my poems and comments with your bullshit and you won't have to hear a single word from me.

Gone is the brightness behind our teeth when the object of our happiness is but dust and smoke... A distraught, but poetic look into a fathomless black hole of pain shared by many... Beautifully penned...
