Beggar Subject

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Beggar Subject

splendid heartbreak

she was the queen of goodbyes

royalty to send me reeling

edict not of etiquette

but floundering foresight of emotion

empty throne
crown of thorns,
the garden's empty
and i am again a pauper
sole heir to a kingdom
of nothing.

The best and worst off all
world's thrown into one, the
King is dead, long live the King.

Thing of it is, Jacob, it's not "nothingness" that comes from it when you turn it into art that touches others. Nothingness is void of emotion and you, sir, have plenty of it :)

Well portrayed how certain relations can make us either break to nothings or to make us everything. I really wish we all have a extra sense to scan all these personalities . Great reflection on relationships

Ok.....Ok so its nothingness again. Don't give it such a bad rap. I walk out into the nothingness everyday and sometimes I find the EVERYTHING NESS.

Sounds like this was written during a long hard night of the soul, delving into the chasm that once was full. Love the floundering foresight of emotion line.
