going paperless

going paperless

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

going paperless

i garner abstract energy

of thought

so just imagine

a poem

being written

in your mind.

Perfect precis is your trademark, Jacob. You have the ability to transfer your immediacy of thought to an immediacy of written comprehension. I envy your aptitude in this.

thank you for your kind review, Norman.

As always, the thing I want to see most in a very short write is to have every word selected carefully for maximum meaning & impact. You might be the best at doing this, on this website. As for the message, I've heard of people who write a poem in their minds, but my memory is shot, so I need to commit it to some form of permanence, be it digital or otherwise. I can't even remember an IDEA for a poem, so I have notepads everywhere. Thanks for the interesting read. Of course, I love the same perfectly-crafted line as redzone (below): "i garner abstract energy of thought" . . . so creative!

this is a wonderfully written "abstract energy of thought" Jacob... kinda woke me up this morning.. better than coffee, er.. well pretty close... speaking of which, I need another cup of poetry... I know I tease in my comments, but I really appreciate your poetry Jacob, so damn inventive.
