years later, the how and why of you and i

 

 

soaring inward, 

i think of you in '67

 

and feel a temporary breath

of heaven

 

inhaling, i remember

exhaling, i land

 

inside your heart

and that is the art

 

of poetic imaginings

even if we know not

 

how to fly.

with poetic imaginings, we do not need to know how to fly to soar within a heart, within a remembered heaven of inhaled breath... 1967 almost anything was possible it seemed.. I always wondered why and also why so fleeting, were we just too young and idealistic??? nice one Jacob... her heart may only be temporary, but those poetic imaginings are forever...
