Clairvoyant

Clairvoyant

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Clairvoyant

dust to dust

his smile,

the deep set eyes

the bones of a man

the structure of the face

dust to dust

voice of ash

still resonates from the churning urn

the fiery manner,

discerning

the feeling of a Father's love

deeply set in a heart

and in the bones of a son.

I was very moved by this work J, as I do not remember the face of my mother, but I remember my sisters and they say she looked most like her. But sometimes when I look in the mirror, I can't help but wonder how much of her is there.

The love you shared with your father will never turn to ashes or dust. It is golden and stays with you forever. May memories be a blessing to you, Jacob. Heartfelt emotions in this one. Lydi**

Memories remain in the minds eye and so do emotions. As is your want Jacob you present your ideas in a well structured, flowing piece with excellent visual and emotional triggers.

It was the line resonates from a churning urn that nailed it for me Jacob. The memory of such love is very valuable. Hang onto it.

Love is surely the one thing we have that survives death.
We cope in many ways, but the solace we find in Father's love is the constant we need to deal with loss.
Good one, j.
